    2. Have you ever had one of those one sided conversations, where someone who deeply cares about you starts to give emotional advice? Tears start flowing from both talkers, your chest tightens, you cant swallow and you wish you could look away?

      One of those happened.

      Delete
  12. Yes actually...
Who was it? Do you mind telling?

    ReplyDelete
  13. My aunt Jessica. She saw the little argument between my mom and me over the laptop.

    1. ... I'm sorry
... did you get to explain the situation?

      Delete
    2. Sort of. She disagrees over my trust to people behind a screen. But its just... So heartwrenching... There was even fitting music playing....

      Delete
    3. I agree with not trusting the internet so easily. I would dissuade putting your personal information up. But that's just what I think.

      Delete
    4. (Its ok hover just do the safety dance if you don't what this is look it up)

      Delete
    5. Mhm... but it's become too trusting of someone to hold scheduled meetings to help run a blog for and with your frirnds?
... I'm sorry... I know she put you in a corner... but we're here for you!

      Delete
    6. Not that this fits the mood at all, but I tend to lose people's trust when they hear me over a mic and think I'm a 40-year-old man.

      Delete
    7. Thanks vic. And thanks pinkie, ill look that up tomorrow.
      Army, how old are you?

      Delete
  14. No reason to not trust friends. It's not some dumb chatroom.

    1. Which reminds me. Not once have I come across a genuinely stupid brony.

      Delete
    2. Well, as i said, she disagrees with my thoughts.

      Delete
    3. It's hard to explain a trust towards people that can without any effort at all, lie to you. I can understand why she'd think that, but she should at least try to give a deeper analysis before doing something like that...

      Delete
    4. Well, shes 57. Shes not gonna just stop believing what the news say. But still, all my family have a way with words.

      Delete
    5. Again, off topic, but 57 happens to be my favorite number.

      Delete
    6. Well, my favourite number is either 8 or 9.

      Delete
    7. Any particular reason for that number choice?

      Delete
    8. Well, just look at dat 8. Its gorgeous.
And 9, because its three times three.

  17. You haven't scoured the 'net then. There are plenty of bad bronies. There will be bad people in every fandom.

    1. I don't go looking for trouble. If I tried some areas that I generally avoid (i.e. 4chan) I'm sure I'd have a few handfuls in no time.

      Delete
    2. NOT EVERYPONY IN 4CHAN IS BAD! you just gotta know who to look for...

      Delete
    3. I also avoid 4chan mostly because of brony hatred

      Delete
    4. A bit defensive?
      You started there?

      Delete
    5. Those who aren't bad are usually assaulted on grounds of other bronies' deeds and general arrogance. I have no idea why they would stay there.

      Delete
    6. ... because we think we can fight back. Familiar with the term "mods are asleep, post ponies"?

      Delete
    7. But when both sides are able to remain almost completely anonymous, no one wins because both are just arguing blindly until they get bored. That site is one aimless, endless argument with no real purpose. Not exactly a place for love and tolerance.

      Delete
    8. Aha! XD
that's hilarious. I bring up the phrase to point out that our cause is basically "sticking together to fight away the haters." And you don't realize that after you've been told there are good ponies on 4chan, and you decide to group them with the bad, your a hater too. You become just as bad as they are.

      Delete
    9. What I'm saying is not that they are all bad, but simply that those who are good can hardly be recognized when all they can possibly do is feed fire into a constant battle between arrogant, angry /b/tards and themselves. It's not the bronies that are the problem, it's the environment in which they're put in.

      Delete
    10. So who would you say needs the love and tollerance more? Little timmy, who's never been conected to the site much, and turns to websites that are brony friendly where he has lots of acceptance?... or little eric, who's turned to the website for humour and enjoyment his whole life, and suddenly finds himself alienated based on his new fanhood. Love and tollerance is a creed that must be treated litteraly. If anything timmy should spread love Eric's way rather than calling his favorable website a waste of time. Oh and for the record: love and tollerance began on 4chan.

      Delete
    11. I understand that any dark place needs some light, but when it comes to these people... It seems like the only love that's being spread there is between those who are already bronies. The only thing they can do is try to fight off countless thread bombings, and how can they spread love and tolerance to those who will in no amount accept it? Why stay when you can move to a place where you don't have to fight just to communicate with friends?

      Delete
    12. Because they went to the site their whole lives and suddenly ponies want them gone. They shouldn't be told they can't come to THEIR site based off of others refusal to accept new ideas. You are only supporting the trolls and freaks who want us gone in the first place when you say we should leave.

      Delete
    13. The only thing I support is less aimless argument. Drama is something I don't easily sympathize with. The only reason they want us gone is a difference of opinion. These differences, no matter how insignificant or harmless, are what drives any given argument. By simply moving on from what has already become a terrible environment, the fighting stops. Bronies are in places where people like those of 4chan can be smitten at the first sign of starting a ruse, and both sides can do as they please. It's just a vicious circle if they stay on 4chan. Oh, and i'm just about out of time. Can we call this a draw or a stalemate or something? I gotta get to bed.

      Delete
    14. Well i'm a little disappointed this ended so early but i suppose....

    5. I had a 22lb cat. He got a thyroid tumor and lost over half his weight in 3 weeks. R.I.P. Squid </3

  19. Umm, vicky, for the record, "love and tolerance" started as a rape joke. It was sites like ponychan the ones who used its true meaning.
Love and tolerance was never uttered in the show.

    1. -,- i didn't say it was. I said it started in 4chan. Please reread.

  20. I can't tell if I'm having fun with this or not! XD I haven't debated like this in a looong time.

    ReplyDelete
  21. 4chan just isn't the place to go for ponies anymore. It's become too sick for it. That's why there's ponychan. You won't get more bronies in one place(besides EqD) than there. Plus, they're pretty much all nice. On 4chan it's just not safe...

    ReplyDelete
  22. I left 4chan as soon as I became a brony. I just got so sick of it. It's a terrible place. What ever happened to it just being a place for otaku discussion?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Never went to 4chan. Don't plan to.

    2. Apparently, it wasn't always... Purgatory.

    3. -,- no... it was always purgatory... it was just nicer before...

  23. Adios everypony~ I'll see you... *puts on sunglasses* in H-*rockroll*

    ReplyDelete
  24. Bye rainbow.
And you reread. The ones who migrated from 4chan made love and tolerance what it is today. To 4chan it was just another joke. The birth of something is not always its defining point.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. XD they left with the message yes, but i ment reread my comment because i didn't say it was in the show.
the message ment something to the good ponies who stayed, but was spread by those who gave up. It's new meaning WAS created still within 4chans walls.

      Delete
  25. But why would you want to stay in a place where you're constantly being lashed out at? I'd rather go to a place that hasn't become almost 100% poisined by filth and is based soley upon my largest obsession.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Because we were there first. Just because something great came along we supported doesn't mean we don't belong there anymore.

      Delete
  26. I'm not saying all of 4chan is bad, but a large chunk of it I do not want to see. I don't care if bronies came to be there. The /co/ board is where it began. That part of 4chan I'm okay with.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Well, it's been fun Vicky. *shakes hoof* I'll see you all tomorrow! G'night.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I treat 4chan like I treat shipping and clop
I won't go near it with a ten foot pole and hate it with the burning passion of a million Super Novas

    ReplyDelete
  29. Besides, 4chan is not the place for people to discuss in harmony. Not at all.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Travis, then why did you ship one of your OC's with a mane character?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Allow me to elaborate
I mostly mean Mane 6 shipping with other characters, as I said Gay Dash shipping kills my heart and soul

  31. I am back to say I could randomly be gone, and though I won't specify what illness, it sucks and comes with embarrassing side effects. ((Vicky, give up on 4chan, when I did I stopped being a troll, it was the best decision I ever made. Dashie, I may or may not be in class tomorrow, and feel rather sick IRL even if I don't show it, because b*tching never solves anything. I'm going to venture on profiles and attempt to educate trolls, *giggle* Just kidding, troll the trolls later if I'm truly sick-sick.)) I have to leave, goodbye everypony...

    ReplyDelete
  32. Trolls will never go away. Leaving 4chan is a good thing, not giving up. Because if we "gave up" we wouldn't have the amazing pony sites we have now. It's not running away, it's saying we have the power to make our own homes, undisturbed by trolls.(most of the time)

    ReplyDelete
  33. @Travis
So straight Dash doesn't. That totally makes sense.

    ReplyDelete
  34. We do belong there. We belong everywhere. But some people are flankholes. I don't want to be near them let alone the damned site they feed off of.

    ReplyDelete
  35. @travis. Well, i guess that comes with being a christian.
Ill just say i dont agree with your opinion on shipping.
And if you answer do it on the next post.

    ReplyDelete
  36. *pats Hover's back*
It's okay, bro. You'll see her later.

    ReplyDelete
  37. @Sunset
Thank you your the first not to attack me
I know that is pretty much buried deep in our culture but I try to avoid it as much as possible. It just happens I suffer emotional attachment to imaginative characters.
